CAMP HOPE
Mandala Springs, NC
Camp Hope is a 1 week pop-up camping event that brings like-minded individuals, friends, and families together to get a taste of purposeful community living. We slow down, cut out distraction, connect in with nature and our primal energy. We get to know and help our neighbors, learn from one another, hold and challenge each other, and celebrate! The main focus of this camp will be to sharpen our wilderness and survival skills, instilling HOPE for our sovereignty on the uncharted road ahead. The last few years have given us all a chance to internally evaluate, shift and grow. We aim to shift the focus now onto practical skills that empower and help us all develop a well-rounded Love Warrior Spirit.
Heritage Preservation: Honoring and passing down traditional knowledge and practices within the family and community.
Outdoor Unity Building: Strengthening familial and community bonds through shared experiences in the wilderness.
Primal Skills Education: Teaching families practical survival skills and techniques that help give them the confidence to step further into sovereignty.
Eco-Cultural Immersion: Engaging families in immersive experiences that blend environmental conservation with cultural traditions and practices.
Here's what you can expect your days at Camp Hope to be filled with...
At sunrise, daily, we begin our morning with Sound, Breath, Movement and Meditation. Connecting in with the self and nature, before moving into community for the day. Interested in leading 1 or more of these practices? Be sure to note it in your Registration and we will contact you.
Add this one-two punch to your routine after morning rituals for a guaranteed great day! Experience a traditional sweat lodge ceremony with your community.
Navigational skills course, primal protection and preparedness, foraging, knot tying, fire starting, shelter building, fishing and more for all ages!
Come worship the land, yourself, your tribe with a Sunday morning ecstatic dance. We will kick it off with some jams for the kiddos, let them set the stage for expression. Interested in DJ-ing this set? Be sure to note it in your Registration and we will contact you.
As a nomadic community, we strive to always leave the incredible places we visit better than we found them. Many hands make light work and together we will say thank you to the land and its stewards by having a project day focused on activating or improving spaces on the property.
Dedicated, separate, men's and women's circles to explore the values of masculine and feminine as well as discuss the hardships we face in those roles and ways we can support one another. Age appropriate circles for kids/teens will be held as well.
Guaranteed to be a highlight of our time together! The artistry, belly laughs and aching cheeks from smiling are not to be missed. Sign-ups for the talent show will be posted at camp. We can't wait to see you shine!
Fresh mountain air, star-filled sky, the symphony of nature all around, and practice in one of the most necessary areas in staying calm in survival situations...BREATH. Interested in facilitating this work workshop? Be sure to note it in your Registration Form.
Bringing back story, myth, imagination and presence as we gather around the fire with our families and neighbors to slow down, connect and LISTEN.

Preparing and gathering around food is an important and cherished community past time. With the exception of a special dinner or two, you will be providing your own meals. We envision dinner time to be a shared experience. Potluck Style! Make a big batch of a recipe you love or team up with some friends to create something yummy. Time for meal preparation will be factored into the daily schedule. Coolers and ice are going to be key, as well as additional camp kitchens. Ice will be available for purchase daily on-site. Note in your registration if you're up for creating a shared kitchen space.
